South Australia: AGL Energy, Origin Energy, Trust Power new generation committed

 The details were: With some secret projects excluded, committed projects listed were:
 AGL Energy: had entered into agreements for the construction of the 52.5 MW Hallett 5 wind farm at the Bluff Range in the mid-north of South Australia. Construction was expected to begin in July with completion anticipated in December 2011.
 Origin Energy: had Development Approval to expand the quarantine power station further by adding a steam turbine to generate power using the heat produced by the exhaust from the existing generators. However, this project is yet to be approved by the Origin Board.
 Trust Power: planned to expand its Snowtown Wind Farm by adding around 98, 2.1 MW turbines. No firm date was set for for construction of Snowtown Stage 2.
