New works planned: - Construction of a Centre for Accelerator Science and extensions to other facilities for the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, ANSTO, at Lucas Heights, NSW; - new Centre for Accelerator Science; - an extension to the Bragg Institute and an - extension to the OPAL reactor building. 150 new staff?: staff and students based at ANSTO, visitors and researchers. Opal nuclear reactor support: ANSTO further proposes to construct and fit out additional offices, workshops and laboratories at the OPAL reactor building to support reactor operations.
