NSW Government solar feed-in tariff scheme to close a loophole.

 Cash option wanted: The tariff, is designed to pay households and small businesses 60 cents per kilowatt hour for the renewable energy they produce.
 Retailers don't want to pay cash?: But some power companies have said they will credit bills rather than send a quarterly cheque, which would disadvantage people who are relying on the scheme to pay off the cost of installing the panels.
  Who calls for cash: The renewable energy industry, the NSW Greens and the Property Council of NSW want everyone to be paid in cash for excess power they produce.
