Loy Yang Power gets 1 million Energy Technology Innovation Strategy (ETIS) grant for CO2 dump.

 Money from heaven: The Loy Yang Post Combustion Carbon Capture Project (PCC) has received an offer of $1 million in funding from the Victorian Government's Energy Technology Innovation Strategy (ETIS) for new large-scale, pre-commercial carbon capture storage (CCS) demonstration projects in Victoria.
 Who’s who:  The pre-feasibility study will be conducted by Loy Yang Power, TRUenergy, Mitsubishi Australia Limited, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Worley Parsons.
 And another million:  The remaining funding will come from a matching $1 million grant awarded under the Victorian CarbonNet's bid to the Australian Government's Carbon Capture and Storage Flagship program.
