In July last year, ERA issued a draft decision rejecting the changes before issuing a final decision last month on December. Retail price rise unchanged: If approved by the WA Government, the final approval leaves substantially unchanged the expected price rise for residential tariffs that were foreshadowed in the ERA's final decision last month. Network changes to rise sharply: The price increases for users of the transmission and distribution network will come in three stages - March 2010, July 2010 and July 2011 - and will consist of real increases of up to 13 per cent for transmission tariffs and up to 18 per cent for distribution tariffs.
